Beaver Cartoon Design: Working Smarter Not Harder

This is another design I did for the Zazzle gallery based on the saying “Work Smarter Not Harder” I have done some other designs based on this popular saying and will most likely continue to do more as I think of them because I like the saying so much. I have included links to a few articles on the subject of “working smarter and not harder” which someone whishing to incorporate this type of behavior into their life might find useful. I have also added links to the products I put this design on. Enjoy and have a great day.

Work Humor: Glass half full

I did this one because there is always that one person at the office who no matter what tries to put a positive spin on everything even when anyone with half a brain knows that "Happy.....Happy......Joy.....Joy" is not always the appropriate response to many of the challenges that work offers. Enjoy and have a great day!

Office Humor: Work-Casm’s

I thought I would start trying something a little different with my work and office related humor. Any cartoon I do that falls under the subject of work or office humor I will now call a Work-Casm. The reason for the Work-Casm title is basically the mixture of work and sarcasm. Pretty simple….right, this one is for all those people out there working in a thankless job. Enjoy and have a great day.

Work Humor: If work is so awesome

I am working on the subject of work humor, office humor and anything generally in that category of funny. This is one of the ideas that I came up with. I have a bunch more to work on so keep checking in every once in a while and hopefully there will be something that tickles your funny bone. Enjoy and have a great day.

Work Cartoon: On the Job Training

This work cartoon comes as a result of curiosity more than anything else. Most of my life has been spent doing more active work, meaning out and about moving around, except for a short stint as a supervisor, which I did not care for very much in hindsight. The one very important thing I learned from that experience is that money isn’t everything and middle management has taken on the definition of what I equate to as the 10th plain of hell, somewhere between purgatory and hell itself. If you have ever been in middle management, chances are you know the place I speak of. Anyway, given that I like to fix stuff, I thought that sitting in a cubical might be similar to my thoughts on middle management but I don’t know for sure, having never been shackled to a cubical to earn a living yet. I’m not saying I wouldn’t give it a go….I’m saying I just don’t know for sure. I have had friends who have worked in different capacities in the cubical world, some have good things to say about it and some have things, like this cartoon represents, to say about it. You know, as I think about it, if I where to try and think of some kind of cartoon that gave a more positive representation of cubical labor, I’m not sure it would be funny at all. Strange how that works…..Oh well, enjoy the work cartoon and have a great day.

Funny Work Cartoons: Monday’s Suck

A funny work related cartoon about Monday’s. Many people have to endure the whole “Beginning of the week routine” and this cartoon was made to help people get through that awful affliction with humor. Enjoy and have a great day.

Cartoon Humor, Working Stiff Files 003

I did this funny clip of a cartoon thinking of an old boss. I’m not sure if everyone has had one of these but I had a boss that used to sit outside the office or around the corner listening and watching. I guess he had poor self-esteem, trying to catch comments about him or possibly he felt like we were not being productive enough. I’m not sure but it got to the point were I could almost feel the “evil eye” upon me waiting and watching for the opportunity to justify the activity of spying instead of being a productive member of the company. That's my take on the activity anyway. Enjoy the humor cartoon and have a great day.
